Weaving with the Sun: A Summer Solstice Craft-Journey with Emma Jaqueth

  • Wildlight Montana 11406 Wildlight Lane Alberton, MT, 59820 United States (map)

As part of "The Weavers are Women” series taught by Emma Jaqueth, this summer solstice craft-journey will teach you how to weave a pine-needle basket as well as:

  • How to spiritually relate to nature in a supportive and healthy way

  • Give you guided meditations to get to know and relate to the spirit of Ponderosa Pine

  • Teach you how to gain consent and ethically gather pine needles in nature while weaving in exploration of sharing our inner-light as it relates to World Peace

This craft journey is specifically themed around the symbolism of Summer Solstice and the peaceful and insightful energies that Pine holds according to Celtic tradition. We will be weaving to support us in our journey of inner-peace and World Peace, and we will explore how our personal light relates to and supports peace on Earth.

This is a hybrid journey of meeting over zoom to introduce, prepare and incorporate this journey, while meeting in person to gather pine needles and to learn how to physically weave. All weaving supplies will be provided.
